When I started Two Twenty Grit, I knew our work would always be about more than kitchens, bathrooms, or basements. At its core, remodeling is about honoring what makes a home special while also building something new. That philosophy naturally extends to the materials we use.

Every cabinet we design, build, and install starts with a tree. Wood is one of nature’s greatest gifts, and it’s the foundation of the spaces we create. But with that gift comes responsibility. I don’t take lightly the fact that we are drawing from resources that take decades to grow. That’s why I’ve made a commitment: for every cabinet box we install, we will plant a tree through the U.S. Forest Service’s Plant-A-Tree Program.

This program helps restore forests across the country that have been damaged by fire, disease, or storms. It’s not just about planting trees; it’s about restoring habitats for wildlife, protecting watersheds, and ensuring that future generations get to walk under the same tall pines and leafy canopies we enjoy today.
